Ingredients
- Rajma-1cup
- Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
- Onion - 1
- Tomato - 2
- Turmeric Powder - 0.5 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
- Red Chilli - 0.5 tsp
- Garam Masala - 0.5 tsp
- Salt - 0.5 tsp
- Water - 2 cup
Recipe
- Soak the Rajma overnight and then drain the water before cooking.
- Roast cumin seeds in a pan until they turn aromatic.
- Add onion and cook until golden brown.
- Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli, garam masala, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
- Add the soaked Raima and let it cook for 2-3 whistles or until it is tender.
- Add water and let it simmer for another 5-10 minutes.
- Serve hot with steamed rice / Roti.
